President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday commissioned two road projects in Katsina State despite light rainfall.
The projects were constructed by the Katsina state government, and the President had departed Abuja on Saturday to celebrate Sallah.
While in the rain, Buhari noticed that the policemen on duty were without a raincoat and he verbally queried the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu for failing to provide raincoats for the security operatives.
“Why did you leave your men in rain, without raincoats ?”
The AIG was said to have kept quiet and Buhari revealed that he would raise the issue with the IGP. It was also reported that the soldiers at the venue had their raincoats on.
