The Convener of African Royalty Awards and Executive Director of Face of Royalty Beauty Pageant, Mr. Duke Bassey is plus one today. The controversial Pageant organiser and event Host who spoke with STATEPRESS yesterday had described his new age as a blessing and a privilege from God Almighty.
He also threw words of appreciation to his sponsors, partners, supporters, friends and colleagues who had continued to encourage him on the paths of successful career attainments. Duke Bassey had received loads of momentous felicitations, including gifts, goodwill messages, prayers and wishes from friends, family members, colleagues and fans.
He would be hosting friends, fans, family members and colleagues, especially Abuja models at his apartment to an indoor get-together on Friday to make his birthday quite remarkable and memorable. In his words, Duke Bassey noted that he is committed to carve a niche for his organization in the pageant industry, if God almighty continues to grant him more years of impact engagements.
Unfortunately, the annual pageant contest of 2020 FORA Beauty Pageant was postponed as a result of the recent Covid19 pandemic and the lockdown directives across states in Nigeria and Africa. According the Principal Executive, Duke Bassey noted that online screening and auditions continued amidst the lockdown, but the organizing committee for the 2020event has yet decided on a fixed date until the Covid19 pressure is completely relaxed, he concluded.
