With the inauguration of the various State and Local chapters of the Mercy Wave Foundation, there has been a tremendous increase in the amount of grassroot outreaches. This steams from the peculiar needs of individuals in different states and the need to reach them at their various point of needs.
One chapter that has always been making the headlines for all the right reasons is the Umuahia chapter of the foundation that is taking great strides to ensure the visions of the foundation are met.
Quite recently, the Umuahia chapter embarked on an outreach to a physically challenged home in Umuahia, Abia State. With the economic hardship in the country, and the increase in prices of various essentials, the chapter went over and beyond to provide some relief materials for the physically challenged people.
Following the mandate of the CEO, Princess Dr. Mercy Uwakwe, not to relent, even amidst the economic meltdown, the Umuahia chapter has proven again that the foundation is indeed not resting on its oars
