The recently held glamour traditional wedding ceremony of Chinenye Sandra and Izuchukwu Valentine at Osigbu Village Ukpor in Nnewi South LGA of Anambra state was indeed an event like never, especially as it recorded the amazing and distinguished presence of Chief Donatus Okonkwo and his Family, who attended the occasion to celebrate and congratulate the new couples in Anambra state.
Described as the first wedding of the year 2021 and held on the 1st of January 2021, the entire Families of Chief and Lolo Henry Anazodo, (Chinyelugo of Ukpor, Henry Hills), from Osigbu Village in Nnewi South LGA and that of Chief and Mrs. Samuel Okoye (Nwawelugo), from Amaeze Village Oraukwu in Idemili North LGA Ukpor, had ensured the delivery of the traditional rites required for the traditional conjugation of Sandra and Valentine their children.
Speaking with a Correspondent of AnambraUpdate, Chief Donatus Okonkwo expressed joy at the confident decisions made by the young couples to unite and be called one. He however encouraged the new couples in the spirit of understanding, hardwork and unionism.
The ceremony had also witnessed the presence of several Personalities in Nigeria and especially from across Anambra state. According to reports the ceremony was filled with indeed colourful and quite historic. It however recorded several entertaining activities, as friends, family Members, special Guests and other invitees were indeed carried away by the amazing ambience.
