The National President of Messengers of Peace, MOP, Dr. Suleiman Adejoh has solicited partnership with the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria to promote peace and peaceful coexistence.
This is even as the National President of Messengers of Peace, MOP, Dr. Suleiman Adejoh unveiled the customised number plate, PEACE which is to be distributed to local government chairmen, their Deputies and paramount rulers across the country.
At the unveiling of the plate number which took place at the Radisons Blu hotel in ikeja Lagos state where the State algon chairmen were having a 3 days retreat ,the national president of Algon was equally decorated and honoured as a patron of the mop ,the 2nd unveiling took place at the Sheraton Hotels Abuja on Thursday, Dr. Adejoh remarked that ALGON has a critical role to play in building peace, especially its presence at the grassroot, a statement signed by Emmy Williams, PA to the MOP President on KSEAC says.
Recall that ALGON and MOP had recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU for distribution of the customised peace vehicle number plates to council chairmen and their vice which MOP described as a sensitization material to promote peace across Nigeria and its environs.
MOP has remained a lead advocacy group in the promotion of peaceful coexistence and unity across the country.
Earlier, the National Anti-Multiple Taxation Scheme (NAMTAXS) and the National Trade Insurance Scheme (NATIS) which seek to reduce multiple taxation on transportation of food items were officially inaugurated. The slogan is SAY NO to illegal Tax.
The inauguration/unveiling of the NAMTAX and NATIS logo was by the Minister of Special Duties, Dr. George Akume. And several other partners and vendors of the project.
