Her Excellency, Mrs. Uduak Alayingi Sylva, Former First Lady of Bayelsa & wife of the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, H.E. Chief Timipre Sylva, is being honored as a VIP WOMAN OF IMPACT by the VIP magazine media team headed by its Publisher, Talabi Taiwo O. Michael.
The VIP magazine in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs raised spotlights on women of valor who have made impactful contributions to our society at the VIP 100+1 WOMEN OF IMPACT AWARD ceremony @Transcorp Hilton Abuja held on the 7th December 2021. The occasion was classified as one of the most successful events of the year with a rich attendance of amazing women across all sectors in Nigeria.
An experienced health coach and development facilitator, Mrs. Alanyingi Sylva has a passion for discovering and developing the potential of disadvantaged children. Among the beneficiaries of her ONE MOTHER, ONE CHILD INITIATIVE are first-class students at the University of Maiduguri among others.
Apart from carrying out the first Rural health care/Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness campaign which educated and screened over 15,000 women across the Niger Delta of breast and cervical cancer, Mrs. Alayingi has contributed immensely to improving the wellbeing of women and young adults through her commitment to promoting women and girls in STEM education.
