Social Crusader and Entrepreneur Ogenna Ekwubiri Emerges 2022 Youth Advocate of the Year
A youth advocate, Ex Beauty Queen and the Founder 'Motivating African Youths Initiative', Dr. Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri has been voted the 2022 'Youth Advocate of The Year' in the forthcoming Leadership Excellence Awards.
She was nominated along with social crusaders Aisha Yesufu, Ahmed Isah and Harrison Gwamnishu.
in a 14-day public voting by Nigerians via online platforms Ogenna Ekwubiri polled 55,469 votes to defeat the other nominees who polled 51,333 votes; 21,647 votes and 18,463 votes by Ahmed Isah, Aisha Yesufu and Harrison Gwamnishu respectively.
In some of the other categories, Former Anambra State Governor, Mr Peter Obi was also voted Man of the Year, Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum (Best Governor of the Year), Babatunde Fashola (Best Minster of the Year), Tonye Princewill (Businessman of the Year), Buba Marwa, (Crime Figther of the Year), Abia State First Lady, Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu (First Lady of the Year) etc.
The award, endorsed by the African Union, African Film Institute, will be presented in a grand ceremony organised by IgbereTV on 5th November, 2022 at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
The 2022 edition of the prestigious Igbere TV Awards, the 4th in a row, is expected to be graced by former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, as well as key personalities in both the public and private sectors.
