Niger State supporters of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have boosted his chances in the 2023 presidential election by giving him a massive endorsement to run for the country’s top seat in the forthcoming general elections.

The crowd in their numbers trooped to the Trade Fair Complex, the venue of the flag-off rally of the APC presidential and gubernatorial campaign in Minna as early as 8 am to await the arrival of the presidential candidate.

This resulted in a heavy traffic gridlock along the Minna-Suleja road, a major road to the venue.

A large number of people were observed to have walked from the Citygate roundabout to the venue, which was besieged by a large crowd of supporters with various groups displaying posters endorsing Tinubu, Shettimma and the state APC governorship candidate, Hon. Umar Bago.

Upon arrival at the venue of the campaign rally, the presidential candidate was greeted with cheers and shouts of “We want Tinubu, We want you.”

Tinubu was accompanied by his running mate, Senator Ibrahim Kashim Shettima, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawal, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, the APC Niger State governorship candidate, Umar Bago, former APC Chairman, Adams Oshomole, as well as other state governors and federal lawmakers.

Shortly after the flag-off, the presidential candidate and his team moved to the Eastern Bypass to commission the Tinubu/Shetima campaign office of the North Central Zone in Minna.

The APC Presidential campaign office was donated by the Blueprint newspaper publisher, Alh. Mohammed Idris Malagi, who is the Chairman, Strategic Communications of the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

Malagi also donated some operational vehicles and tricycles for the party’s campaigns in the state.
