It has been confirmed that Manchester United defender Phil Jones is leaving the club this summer.
The former England international will be departing Old Trafford as a free agent after spending 12 years at Old Trafford, according to talkSPORT.
This will appear in the Red Devils released/retained list to be released in a couple of weeks as the season draws to a close.
In his 12-year career as a United player, the Englishman has won the Premier League, FA Cup and Europa League winners’ medals.
It’s also widely claimed that Jones turned down the chance of a testimonial at the Theatre of Dreams to mark his decade at the club, joking that only his mum and dad would turn up to watch it.
