New Al Ittihad striker Karim Benzema has welcomed the world’s best box-to-box player, N’Golo Kante, to the Saudi Arabian giants.
Kante left Chelsea after seven years at Stamford Bridge to sign a four-year deal with champions Al Ittihad.
The midfielder is the club’s second high-profile signing of the summer, following an astonishing move to sign Benzema from Real Madrid.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo was the first big name to move to the Middle East, but Benzema, Kante, Ruben Neves, and a host of other stars have now followed, with scores of others expected to join the Saudi Pro League.
In a video message shared by Al Ittihad on Twitter, Benzema welcomed his fellow compatriot Kante to the club.
The Ballon d’Or winner said: “One time I told you, you’re the best player, box to box, in the world.
“Now I’m happy to play with you again, and of course, in the best team in Saudi.”
