Tuesday’s NWC meeting is the first Ganduje would oversee since he emerged as the APC National Chairman.

Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), presided over the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) meeting on Tuesday, August 8.

Tuesday’s NWC meeting is the first Ganduje would oversee since he emerged as the APC National Chairman.

The meeting took place at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Recall Ganduje was elected as the party’s national chairman during a national executive committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on August 3.

A former Senate spokesperson, Ajibola Basiru, was similarly elected as the party’s national secretary.

This follows the resignation of Abdullahi Adamu and Iyiola Omisore as the APC National Chairman and National Secretary respectively.
