African CEO Merit Awards for the year 2023 has successfully been concluded at the prestigious national Merit House Maitama Abuja with deserving individuals honoured, including the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Skyewise Group, Odidi Oluwaseun F who was honoured as Most Outstanding COO.
The award ceremony which featured African CEO's Business Discourse holds annually to recognize companies and investors that have shaped the year in Africa.
More than 250 companies, investors and CEOs were honoured, representing many key actors who have driven Africa’s economic expansion.
They include, the Chief Executive Officer of Adron homes and properties limited, Aare adetola O Emmanuel King, the National Youth Leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Honorable Mohammed Kadade Suleiman and the Treasurer NURTW Kaduna State Council, Comrade lawal Abubakar Akinioye and more.
Meanwhile, the management of Skyewise Group has congratulated Mr. Odidi for the laudable feat, saying it is an indication that the company wields best brains with proven capacity to perform.
The company's Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Elvis Abuyere in a congratulatory message commended Mr. Odidi for representing the Skyewise brand well.
According to Dr. Abuyere, Mr. Odidi has demonstrated that he is a trusted ally who has shown loyalty and commitment in achieving the ideals of the company.
While stating that the award is well-deserved, Dr. Abuyere urged other staff to take a cue from the COO by making integrity and dedication their watchword.
Amb. Chris Odey, the Convener and the CEO Goodwill Ambassador Events Agency said the event recorded a massive success, stating that the organization is poised to recognizing persons who have made significant impact in the development of the society.
The organisation expanded the list of awardees with the addition of new categories, which included Africa's 10 Most Outstanding NGO Founders and Africa's 10 Best NGO Management Team of the Year.
