A video of primary school pupils going on their knees to plead for an intervention from the Edo state government over the delapidated state of their classrooms has gone viral. The video was recorded by a community member who lamblasted the state government for forgetting their community and refusing to renovate the school which is the only one that has served the community for years.
‘’Are we not paying tax?” the angry man said
He mentioned that the leadership of the primary school alerted the Local government authorities over the dilapidated school structure and according to him, they were told to move the school pupils to another school in another area.
The man alongside the pupils went on their knees to plead with teh Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, to come to their aid and refurbish the school.
