Arsenal will go into Week 14 of the Premier League top of the table, following a narrow 1-0 win at Brentford.
The Gunners were kept at bay by the Bees who kept a compact and solid defensive shape.

Leandro Trossard had a goal ruled out for offside and it seemed Mikel Arteta’s men would be sharing a point with Brentford.

However, Kai Havertz came off the bench to head in Bukayo Saka’s cross in the 89th minute to win it.

The result takes Arsenal to 30 points, one more than Manchester City, who played out a 1-1 draw with Liverpool in the early kick-off.

In some of the other matches played today, Newcastle hammered Chelsea 4-1, Brighton edged Nottingham Forest 3-2 and Luton beat Crystal Palace 2-1.
