In a live radio interview, a 44-year-old man, Mr. Kola, was overcome with emotion when a DNA test revealed that he is not the biological father of the four children his wife, Toyin Arike, bore during their marriage. The couple, hailing from Ikire in Osun State, has four children together: Ayomide, 16, Sarah, 12, and two other children aged 8 and 5 years, respectively.
A DNA test was conducted on all four children at the DDC DNA Diagnostic Center in Alakoko, Osogbo. The results of the test unequivocally indicated that Mr. Kola is not the biological father of any of the children. This revelation during the radio interview left Mr. Kola deeply emotional.
Reacting live on air, Toyin, a health care worker, said: “I don’t accept the result. I don’t accept it because I was not there when they took samples and I don’t know which sample they took, so, I don’t accept it. I can’t accept it because I know how I conceived those children.”
It is alleged that a certain Brother Segun is the biological father of the children, but Toyin denied this.
