The Nasarawa State Police Command has apprehended two suspects in connection with the killing of four shoppers at a shopping mall in One Man Village area of the state.
Abujapress reports that some gunmen suspected to be robbers had on Tuesday evening raided a popular supermarket in the shopping mall, killing four persons in the process.
Speaking on Channels TV programme Sunrise Daily on Friday, State Police Commissioner, Umar Nafada, said the two suspects were arrested on Thursday and have been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further investigations.
“ As I speak with you two suspects have been arrested in connection with that crime they are with the CID and I don’t want to preempt the investigation”.
According to an eyewitness, the gun-wielding hoodlums invaded a supermarket twelve Kilometres away from the city of Abuja.
Abujapress gathered that the daredevil suspected robbers invaded the popular shopping mall in the suburb of Abuja around 8 pm clad in a local attire concealing sophisticated weapons beneath.
