Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Events, Princess Atika Ajanah has emerged the winner of Young Iconic Female in Leadership of the Year 2024.
She defeated four others to grab the first position in an online voting process that ended last week.
By this she will clinch the coveted prize of African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWRA) 2024 as Young Iconic Female in Leadership of the Year.
The President's aide grabbed a total of 1929 votes representing 46 percent of the total vote cast to defeat Aisha Dangote-Indimi who came second with 1209 votes.
Aisha Augie-Kuta, Yetunde Adeniji and Moremi Ojudu polled 456, 391 and 253 respectively to come third, fourth and fifth.
The AIWRA is organised by Face of Democracy Nigeria (FDN) and is designed to recognise outstanding women for their contributions in peace building and national development.
Speaking shortly recently after releasing the preliminary result, the Project Director of FDN, Alexander Ajagbonna, better known as Fajag expressed gratitude with the performances of all the nominees, saying they are all winners.
According to him, all the nominees did their best to mobilize their supporters to vote in the online voting exercise.
The winners will be decorated on May 23 at Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
