The Arewa Pastors Forum for Peace (APFFP) has taken a principled stand against the attempts by forces of evil to plunge Nigeria into confusion and anarchy.

As the first Nigerian Christian clerical concourse from the North to publicly support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we remain committed to our confidence and bridge-building efforts, both intra and inter-faith, across the nation.

We observe that the current challenges facing Nigeria are cumulative, stemming from issues such as Boko Haram insurgency, Fulani herdsmen driving farmers from their lands, kidnapping, and other forms of insecurity. These problems have prevented people from engaging in farming and other economic activities, leading to widespread hardship.

However, we believe that there is light at the end of the tunnel, given the thorough reengineering of the polity that President Tinubu has embarked on. Instead of protesting, we call for a National Day of Prayers, seeking God's added strength and grace for the President to continue his good work.

We appeal to our members, denominations, and parochial church councils to stay away from the planned protest by the enemies of the Nigerian state. Our support for the President Tinubu administration is unwavering, as he has mainstreamed the Church and governance, deserving commendation and suggestions, not condemnation.

Good one.
We need to commend these administration for granting autonomy to Local government council.
