Amid nationwide protests over economic hardship and rising living costs, protesters have stormed former President Muhammadu Buhari’s residence in Daura, Katsina State.

The protesters, who are voicing their discontent with the current administration, blocked the crucial Mai’adua-Daura and Katsina road.

The nationwide protest, which commenced earlier in the day, saw Nigerians across various states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) take to the streets in a unified show of frustration against the Federal Government led by President Bola Tinubu.

Despite efforts from President Tinubu, his ministers, and security agencies to discourage or manage the unrest, the protests surged across the country.
