The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has officially announced that new cadets admitted into the 76 Regular Combatant Course (RC) are to resume on Monday, August 26.

In a statement issued on Thursday in Kaduna, Major Mohammed Maidawa, the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to this resumption date.

“Following an earlier announcement that provided a range of resumption dates from August 24 to 26, the Academy wishes to clarify that the resumption date has now been fixed for August 26, without exception,” Maidawa stated.

He further explained that the revised date is intended to give the new cadets sufficient time to arrange their travel plans.

All successful candidates are required to report at the NDA Ribadu Campus (Old Site) on Monday, August 26, between 0900 and 1800 hours. Maidawa warned that failure to do so would result in the immediate replacement of the candidate with someone on the reserve list.

“Only those with legitimate reasons, backed by appropriate evidence, for their inability to report on the stated date will be considered for admission,” Maidawa added, noting that any other candidates who fail to arrive on the specified date will forfeit their admission.
