In a surprising turn of events during the 2024 summer transfer window, Victor Osimhen’s expected transfer to Chelsea has fallen through. With just two hours remaining before the deadline, negotiations between the Nigerian forward and the Premier League club broke down, leaving the deal in tatters.
Osimhen’s potential move to Saudi Arabia has also hit a dead end. Al Ahli, another club vying for the striker’s signature, opted to sign Brentford’s Ivan Toney on the final day of the transfer window.
