The 2024 GOTNI Leadership Conference held in Abuja has come and gone, with a catalogue of milestones recorded at the two-day event at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel.
One of the key highlights was the unveiling of Leadership Lens Magazine, a publication aimed at deepening the frontiers of the campaign for excellence in leadership at the public and private sector in Africa.
With the title, "Leading Ladies" the first edition is dedicated to highlighting the vital representation of women in leadership and top echelon of corporate and political spheres.
The beautifully designed cover page adorns rich contents on personalities and kicker headlines such as Lady Josephine Nwaeze: Thriving As A Female Leader In Male-Dominated Field, Bodam Taiwo: Balancing Power and Grace, Adaora Sydney-Jack: Charting the Course, Paving The Way for More Women in Leadership, Joyce Daniels: Nurturing Bold Visions, A Call For More Female Voices in Politics, Omotara Fagbuyi: Amplifying Leadership Presence, Sarah Amana: Leading With Financial Confidence, Oluwakemi Enitan Shonubi : The Pipeline Problem, Engr Adat Okon - Effiong : Understanding Imposter Syndrome , Angelina Ugben : Inclusive Governance for Women with Disabilities , and Felix Achibiri : Bridging the Gender Gap in Leadership - A Man’s Perspective.
The magazine production team was spearheaded by Editor-in-Chief Blessing Okebe, a distinguished communications specialist. The editorial efforts were supported by Editor Idy Uko, with Adeyemo Jesutofunmi Janet managing content development. The visual aspects of the magazine were brought to life by two talented graphic designers: Mark Onyebujoh and Jerry Kanyinebi.
The publisher and the founder GOTNI Leadership Centre, Dr. Linus Okorie commended Blessing Okebe and her team for coming up with high quality production with rich content outline on focal persons.
According to him, the Blessing-led team has justified the confidence reposed in them when they were recommended to pilot the magazine.
The magazine unveiling took place on the second day of the GOTNI Leadership Conference which had array of interesting speakers, including Dr. Michael Roberts (JD, Chairman/CEO, The Roberts Companies), Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo (Deputy Governor, Bayelsa State), Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce (Founder Silverbird Group), Dr. Andy Ikekhide (President TGC Network INC), Dr. Daniel Moses (CEO of Property Wealth Corporation) (PWC) and Apostle Femi Lazarus (Lead Pastor of Sphere of Light Church).
The conference had the theme, "Leadership Capital for Wealth Creation".
