The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings, which were initially scheduled for September 11 and 12, 2024.

This announcement was made by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, on Monday.

In the statement, Morka said, “Members of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress are hereby informed that the National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings scheduled to be held on September 11 and 12, 2024, respectively, have been postponed. New dates for the meetings will be communicated in due course.”

While the APC did not provide an official reason for the postponement, sources suggest that President Bola Tinubu’s absence from the country may have influenced the decision.

A source at the APC secretariat revealed that Tinubu’s potential international engagements made it uncertain whether he would be available to attend the meetings, prompting the delay.
