Super Eagles interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen, on Thursday linked up with two former coaches of Nigerian national football team, Jose Peseiro and Gernot Rohr.

The meeting took place at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) coaches symposium in Abidjan.

Peseiro, who led the Nigerian Super Eagles to the final of the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, is among the panelists selected by CAF to attend the two-day event.

The Portuguese took to the social media to show his appreciation to CAF.

“Proud to join the CAF Coaches Symposium in Abidjan this week,” Peseiro wrote on X.

“Looking forward to meaningful discussions on African football’s growth, AFCON’s inspiring legacy, and the promising future of the sport on the continent.”

Fifty coaches from CAF’s member associations are attending the programme.

The CAF coaches symposium would evaluate the performance of national teams during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
