The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has extended warm felicitations to Muslims in Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In a statement personally signed by him on Sunday, Ganduje emphasized the significance of the occasion as a reminder of the Prophet’s teachings of peace, love, and compassion. He urged Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s exemplary life and strive to emulate his noble qualities.
“As the Muslim Ummah celebrates the birthday of the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), I, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), extend my warmest congratulations to all Muslims in Nigeria and beyond,” Ganduje said.
He highlighted the Prophet Muhammad’s exemplary leadership, wisdom, and kindness, noting that his teachings serve as a beacon of hope and guidance for humanity. Ganduje called on Muslims to recommit to the principles of justice, equality, and fairness that the Prophet espoused.
“As we commemorate his birthday, we must recommit ourselves to the principles of justice, equality, and fairness that he espoused,” the APC National Chairman stated. He also urged party members to use the occasion to reflect on their faith and renew their commitment to building a society that is just, equitable, and peaceful.
Ganduje further encouraged all Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to revitalize the nation’s economy, describing the President’s agenda as one driven by a passion for transformative change to elevate the standard of living for all citizens.
“In the spirit of this season, I urge all Nigerians to reaffirm their trust and backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he spearheads a comprehensive economic revitalization agenda aimed at elevating the standard of living for all Nigerians,” he added.
Ganduje concluded by urging Muslims to continue praying for peace, stability, and prosperity in the country, expressing his hope that the blessings of Allah would guide the nation on the path of righteousness.
