Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, better known as Spyro, recently opened up about his pre-marital struggles, specifically his battle with fornication.

Widely recognized for his Christian faith, Spyro took to Instagram on Tuesday to share his personal experiences and the challenges he faced in staying true to his beliefs.

The “Who’s Your Guy” hitmaker revealed that he struggled with the temptation of sleeping with women before marriage.

To overcome these challenges, Spyro turned to prayer, seeking the strength to resist. He eventually made the tough decision to cut ties with the women in his life, a choice he admitted was difficult but necessary for his spiritual well-being.

Spyro candidly expressed the ongoing challenges of resisting temptation, even after making significant progress. He wrote, “Sex felt good till I could no longer bear struggling with my conscience. Every time I ‘fornicated,’ knowing I ain’t married to the person, I felt troubled, like a part of me gets taken right after.”

The singer acknowledged that the journey hasn’t been easy, especially when he travels and faces temptations from women around him.

He noted that promoters also add to the challenge, but he remains committed to his decision. “It hasn’t been easy, especially when I travel and these clean girls begin to get funny around me and promoters never make it easy too. But now they know, and yea, I am keeping this bed for ONE now,” Spyro concluded.

Spyro’s openness about his struggles highlights the pressures faced by celebrities and serves as an inspiration to those who might be dealing with similar challenges.
