In a newly surfaced video, notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji, has issued a stern warning to the Hausa people in Northwestern Nigeria, accusing them of betraying the Fulani community.
Turji, in the video released Wednesday night, criticized the Hausa community, claiming they are responsible for the deaths of innocent Fulani individuals and their livestock. He vowed to escalate his group’s attacks unless the killings cease.

“You, the Hausa community, have taken the lives of our brothers and sisters, and no one has spoken against it,” Turji stated, pledging continued conflict against the Hausa people.

He emphasized that his group’s grievances extend beyond security forces, identifying the Hausa community as their primary target due to their alleged involvement in Fulani deaths.

“We hold the Hausa responsible for the suffering and deaths of many Fulani,” Turji declared, while also boasting about his gang’s access to various weapons.

Drawing comparisons to conflicts in places like Afghanistan and Iraq, Turji referenced the ongoing nature of global insurgencies, even after the death of figures like Osama Bin Laden, hinting that his fight would continue similarly.

Turji further warned that Hausa farmers would not be allowed to cultivate their land, which he referred to as “our land,” without repercussions, stating that the killing of Fulani and their livestock would no longer go unanswered.

He concluded with a chilling threat, declaring, “You will not harvest your farms. If you try, you will die. There will be no farming this season.”
