President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the 21st meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the State House in Abuja, which is likely to be the last for 2024.

The meeting commenced at 1:20 pm on Monday, following the President’s arrival at the Council Chamber.

In attendance are the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack; and all ministers and ministers of state.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, however, is absent as he is currently in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, representing President Tinubu at the commissioning and naming ceremony of a $315 million oil production and storage facility.

The FEC meeting is expected to address key policy decisions and review government activities as the year draws to a close.
