President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays.

He landed at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at precisely 3:23 pm on Wednesday.

Before his departure from Abuja, Tinubu presented the 2025 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly, marking a significant step in the nation’s fiscal planning.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President was warmly received at the airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other members of the state cabinet.

It read, “President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays.

“Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the deputy governor, Obafemi Hamzat, and cabinet members received the President at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

“Before his departure to Lagos, President Tinubu presented the 2025 budget, totalling N47.9trn, before a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.”
