In a statement signed by the Governor’s spokesperson, Dauda Iliya, and obtained on Saturday, the administration reaffirmed its focus on inclusivity and socio-cultural harmony.
The statement read, “Governor Zulum directed as usual, that no affected Christians, Muslims, and others should while away their time without feeling a sense of belonging during and after the yuletide, considering the multi-inclusivity and socio-cultural togetherness that exists between the peaceful people of Borno, especially at this period.
“His Excellency, Professor Babagana Zulum has done it again, as 2024 December credit alerts for salaries and pensions have started hitting accounts of beneficiaries to ensure Christians and other faithful prepare for a better yuletide on time.”
