Two beautiful souls deeply in love with each other have finally agreed to settle in each other's arm forever by starting their journey to marital union.
The festive period came with so much luck for the duo of Chimnonso Okonkwo and his beautiful heartthrob, Chizuru Ikechi Uko as it presented an opportunity for them to formally meet each other's family, a stage popularly known as introduction.
Chimnonso to demonstrate how prepared he came did not stop at introduction but went ahead to wow the family of the bride to be by paying her bride price.
An intriguing part of the beautiful moment was when Chizuru's father, Chief Ikechi Uko said a basic criteria to give out any of his beautiful daughters in marriage is inclusion of seven gold coins in the dowry payment.
The family of the groom to be again demonstrated that they were not letting the beautiful "udara" in the compound to slip off their finger as they reached out to their seven gold coins, laying it on the ground as custom demands.
This was met with immediate reciprocity by the host father at his palatial home in item, Bende local government area of Abia State where he "retaliated" with a gold bar.
The move did not only cement a relationship between the two families but sets a tone for a colourful wedding expected to happen soon.
Chief Donatus Okonkwo, the Chairman of Tetrazzini Group and CEO of Zzini Media was a former Anambra Governorship Aspirant and currently the Honorary Counsel of Congo DRC to Nigeria. The astute business man is the father of the groom to be who hails from Ojoto in Anambra State.
He and his son, Chinomso were accompanied by a political leader in Abia, Chima Anyaso who also hails Bende, Igbere precisely.
The two love birds had met during their postgraduate studies in George Washington University D C in US, from where they found love in each other.
