Tinubu celebrates gov Otti, says he influence both private, public sectors

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, on his 60th birthday, commending his leadership and contributions to economic and infrastructural development.

In a statement released on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu described Otti as “an economist, banker, and politician” whose influence in both the private and public sectors has been significant.

The president lauded the Abia governor’s dedication to governance and nation-building, highlighting his achievements in economic reforms and infrastructural advancements.

He commended the governor’s “enterprising leadership” and his efforts in driving transformation across Abia State.

Acknowledging the progress made under Dr. Otti’s administration, Tinubu noted improvements in “infrastructure, education, and the provision of essential facilities for businesses to thrive, especially in Aba, the commercial hub.”

The President emphasized that Dr. Otti is living up to the high expectations set by his background in the private sector, particularly his leadership in banking and business.

Celebrating the governor’s milestone, Tinubu wished him “robust health so that he can continue his good work for the people of Abia State and Nigeria.”

Dr. Otti, who assumed office as governor in 2023, has been recognized for his commitment to economic revitalization and governance reforms in Abia State.
