Edo community in Kano decry brutal killing of Northern hunters

Kano State Edo community have strongly condemned the brutal killing of northern hunters in Uromi, Edo State.

Following an emergency meeting in Kano, one of the group’s leaders, Mr. John Esele, expressed deep shock and dismay over the attack while speaking to Platinum Post.

Mr. Esele emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating that stakeholders swiftly convened to address the issue. According to him, all attendees unanimously denounced the act and urged security agencies to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.

“We are saddened by this incident and that is why we summoned this meeting this evening. We completely condemn in strong terms this heinous act. We are calling on security agents to investigate this dastardly act and bring the culprit to face the full wrath of the law.

“We equally call on all affected by this to remain calm and peaceful as the security agents work hard to get to the root of the matter.”

The stakeholders also commended Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, along with community leaders in Uromi, for their swift intervention in preventing further unrest.
