Impressed by the orderly conduct of its crusade at Dr. Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has announced that the state would refund the fee paid by Dunamis International Gospel Centre.
He also welcomed the church, led by Pastor Paul Enenche, to return and use the Square for future programmes.
The governor revealed that in the coming months, the Ekwueme Square and its environs will undergo a major facelift with enhanced lighting and beautification, in line with Anambra’s slogan as “The Light of the Nation.”
Soludo encouraged the church to continue praying for the spiritual renewal of the state and to support the government’s initiatives aimed at instilling moral values in young people. He emphasized that his administration is committed to empowering the youth through skills development and entrepreneurship.
“Our people are known for hard work and innovation, not for kidnapping, internet fraud, drug trafficking, and other criminal activities. We must collectively redirect the minds of our youths towards productivity and positive impact,” Soludo said.
He also commended Pastor Enenche for his sermons promoting righteousness and godly living, noting that such messages are vital in shaping the next generation and fostering a safer, more prosperous Anambra State.
During the crusade, Dr. Paul Enenche delivered a powerful message titled “Serving the God of the Blessing.” The gathering drew thousands of worshippers seeking divine intervention, with many testimonies of healing and deliverance.
