All is now set for the 2025 edition of African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWRA) where notable women will be recognised for theirtheir impact towards the improvement of humanity.
Among them are, wife of Nigerian President, Sen. Remi Tinubu, former President of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Namibia, Ndemupelila Ndaitwah and First Lady of Botswana, Kaone Boko.
Also to be honoured include, immediate past First Lady of Ghana, Rebecca Akufo-Addo and the Director General of World Trade Organization (WTO), Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala among others.
According to the award organizer, Face of Democracy Nigeria Project (FDN) nomination has ended with awardees in this year's edition of the annual award ceremony listed.
Awardees are usually selected from pool of nominees who were voted for conferment of award base on public rating.
The grand finale of AIWRA comes up May 23, 2025 will hold at Transcorp Hilton hotel Abuja.
It has been described as Africa's largest hall of fame for women achievers who have left indelible legacies in their endeavours and in touching human life.
The Project Director of FDN, Alexander Ajagbonna, better known as Fajag said the organisation will continue to encourage hard work by recognizing women who have distinguished themselves with outstanding excellence.
