A socio-political group, Team Nigeria Project (TNP) led by the President of National Union of Road Transport Workers, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo has promised that there is so much in stock for Nigerians to reap from in the administration of President Bola Tinubu, urging them to keep faith with the government.
He said the TNP which will be officially unveiled next month in Abuja will become a vehicle to ensure that a larger population of Nigerians receive the dividends of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope programme.
In a statement on Saturday, the convener TNP, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade said robust empowerment programmes have been put in place, including what he called, "Better Life for All Nigerians" which will include free health programmes, scholarship schemes, infrastructural development as well as training to enable young people have access to economic opportunities.
He said, "TNP is poised to be a game-changer in the country in the history of political support groups, as it has developed schemes that will minister to the needs of Nigerians in line with the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr. President.
"Most interesting thing is that key stakeholders of our great party, the APC have indicated readiness to support this TNP project across the country that is meant to strengthen the welfare of our people and give them good dividends of democracy.
"It is my appeal that we join efforts to put smile on the faces of our people, especially the less privileged Nigerians who struggle in one way or the other, so that posterity will be kind to us. TNP presents such opportunity and we must key into it to distribute hopes to families by lifting their burdens and pains", he said.
Earlier, the Director General of TNP, Mr. Olamilekan Taiwo Pedro said resource persons have been assembled in the six geopolitical zones of the country to ten thousand people each in various skills, including information and communication technology, search engine optimization (SEO) graphics design and other high yielding fields of empowerment.
Also, the Coordinator General of TNP, MC Oluomo said young people have for a long time failed to play active roles in the governance system, urging them to come out in large numbers and benefit from the numerous programmes TNP is rolling out so that they will return the President, Bola Tinubu as the nation's leader in 2027.
